.hello
I have always been drawn to things that are well made and good to look at. I knew early that I wanted to create, rather than fix or calculate, but I found my way into design sideways. I studied mass communication and journalism, moved into media and marketing, and even tried to study fashion design. That plan stopped at NIFT’s maths entrance exam. I ended up becoming a storytelling designer instead, and over time, that felt like the work I was meant to do. Moving from drawing for myself to designing for clients felt natural in the process. I learned to value the quiet, practical briefs alongside the exciting ones.
Music has always run alongside design for me. I hear the same sense of rhythm, balance, and tension in a piece of music and in a well-resolved layout. As my work has grown, my thinking towards design has also evolved and over the time become more data-driven.I care about how something looks, but also about whether it works and helps a business move forward. That is what now pulls me towards the more functional side of the design, UI design, while keeping my roots in brand and visual storytelling. A size guide does not need to tell a story. It needs to help someone choose the right size. I want to keep both sides of the work close: design that tells a story and design that simply works.
